The Star is Opening

2010 has been a rather challenging year for many if not all of us. 2011 gives us a light at the end of the tunnel, there are rumours of it being gentler on the soul and the spirit. I see 2010 as The Tower in the Tarot, The Tower tears away all our senses of security and forces us to face our fears completely, however it comes after the Devil, which is a place of being stuck in unconciousness, so you can also see the lightening striking deep into the Tower and blowing it apart as the strike of enlightenment and the beginning of freedom.

The next trump is The Star. Classically people groan when they get the Tower and coo when they get The Star, but in order to catch that Star you have to have gone through the Tower, you have to have faced your fears and not clung to any little bit of security (rock of The Tower) that remains, for if you do you will never catch that Star...

So look at the process that 2010 took you through, thank it for all the enlightening moments you have had, even if they have been tough (which they probably have) and say "wow thank you for opening my eyes so that I may see" and now do not keep your head down and look at all the destruction around you but hold your head up high and marvel at the beauty of creation all around you for The Star is here, and as long as

you can allow yourself to rise up and have faith in the creation of the universe anything is possible....There is only one word of warning here...The universe tends to give us what we do not expect because our minds are only a drop in the universe and the universe is a sea, our minds cannot contain the grandour of The Star, so if things happen that weren't inline with your plans go with the flow and it will be more likely to take you to something far bigger than you could ever have dreamed possible....

2010 was also the year of the mother- it adds up to 3 in numerology and 3 in the Tarot is The Empress (mother archetype) so no wonder you had so much mother stuff going on too. The Tower is also the card for strokes and I knew more people than ever that had one last year. Now in 2011 we are in to the father (The Emperor) in the Tarot and structure and stabily, home, law, order, etc. 3 can be rather unstable, you only have to look at a 3 wheeled car (2010) and compare it to a 4 wheeled car (2011).
You seem to have naturally figured out what 2010 was about and taken with you the mother in your heart, mind, soul and learning (aromatherapy) which will be great for your sons asthma- I was diagnosed asthmatic at 2. I still am, olbas oil rocks!
May you find the peace and stability present in 2011

I have purchased some new Tarot cards called 'Ascended Masters' and they have been so accurate it's amazing, they have also really helped me get my feelings back on track, saying that I am moving forward in the right direction and to stay true to my hearts desires. I know I need to stay positive but sometimes it is hard, we are only human after all. But with encouraging words like yours it helps to just shine a bit light on my situation. After buying a new home in september 2009 in nz, my husband decided taht we needed to focus on work options so in january 2010 my husband left for the UK to commence his new 3 year contract. My then 3 year old boy and I stayed on til march (for the warmer weather mainly!) we flew via LA - a gut wrenching decision however to leave nz and my ageing mum but had to be done. We were TOTALLY looked after by the universe though as we were given a house with the job/fully furnished and in a great location - beaconsfield.. surrounded by green fields and very close to the old village. ( I might add that every year we write down our goals and list everything that we need - and within a short space of time all of our needs were met).
I was even offered a freelance job pat time without even trying.
Sadly later in the year following a hospital admission with my son (for asthma - newly diagnosed), we literally were discharged from hospital when 2 days later we got the call that my mum had suffered another stroke and that i had to return immediately. Obviously this was and continues to be a difficult time, but with all that sadness I had found a new direction... I plan to study aromatherapy (guidance given to me in meditation and asking for signs + help from my mum (you can make the word mother out of aromatherapy) all this came to me in new zealand after allowing time to grieve and just make time with my family there before returning to the UK. although its still a struggle to move forward without my mum, I acknowledge the presence of spirit and the guidance that is always there if you ask. I have also had many wonderful "coincidences"/and messages from my mum to let me know she is there - especially in my darkest times... its just trusting and believing that there IS a greater presence out there and that things DO happen for a reason.
Every day i ask for my energy and strength to return - and I know that this time is just to allow me to be and to work through my grief.
Articles such as this do help immensely - so thank you!!

It's really nice to hear that this article has given you a bit more faith in yourself and the universe, that is the best thing the Tarot has to offer I think.

I read for a living and so many times I have seen that what people are thinking/feeling fro themselves is usually correct but the fear and doubt we have in ourselves can paralyse us in moving forward. When they come for a reading and see that what they were thinking and feeling is refected in the cards it helps them to have more confidence, trust and belief in themselves and it is such a lovely gift you have given to me to see that even just writing about it can have the same affect...

So go forth and live your dreams, you deserve to!

I can't believe how true this article is for me, everything you said is exactly how 2010 was for me. I went to Egypt on holiday and had the most enlightening experience of my life so far. While there I finally accepted that my marriage was over, its as if I had been clinging on to the security of it but finally the light had been switched on and I realised what I had to do. I also met a very inspiring new friend who helped with the process of enlightenment who I am still in contact with. If I hadn't gone there, I would still be plodding on knowing that deep down I was unhappy but to scared to move on. This article has confirmed that I am doing the right thing, and I feel much more positive about what 2011 onwards has to bring. Love and Light to all.
