How Tarot helps me to predict outcomes! - distancing myself from the phenomenon known as the ‘logical predictable mentality’.
For me, predicting the outcome to a given situation is one of the main reasons I read Tarot, and that applies to both individual client’s questions or World situations amongst other whys and wherefores. And yet it is not the only reason why I have dedicated part of my life to Tarot, as experience has taught me that Tarot is a useful tool in so many ways, including guidance and self-reflection, etc.
Notwithstanding this, if I’m predicting a World event or helping a client to find answers to a relationship dilemma, one of the main questions asked of me is ‘what is going to happen ‘?
Now I could judiciously side step a direct question as much as I desire, but to do so is not addressing the querent’s question, and the seeker is often a paying client. Furthermore, If I am to be seen as a Tarot Reader who does not answer a direct question, it does in fact go against the grain of why I decided to study Tarot 10 years ago.
Allow me to reiterate that this is just my style and perhaps my inquisitiveness to seek answers for questions and future events is a profound influence within my style.
Some of my predictions which some of you have read on TABI forums, Facebook and other online media have often produced some attention-grabbing results. Some predictions have been wildly off the Mark (No WW3 in Syria prediction), at least it seemed unlikely until of late.
Other predictions have been remarkably accurate (FIFA World cup, where I to unravelled the two Countries who reached the final game).
On the other hand, most of my predictions have been less extreme to the point where each prediction has contained a number of key elements that have consequently resulted in the final outcome.
Now you could justifiably maintain that cause and effect to a given situation has an abundant influence on possible outcomes and answers.
Bearing this in mind, I have learned to distance myself from the phenomenon known as the ‘logical predictable mentality’. For example, I could reasonably assume that a client who has recently lost a job may be financially challenged and may have domestic difficulties. More extreme scenarios could have involved World events, where a series of Tarot cards may perhaps have foreseen the outbreak of WW1, as a consequence of a shooting incident in Sarajevo. An extreme example of course, but this is where logic ends and trust is placed in the Tarot Readers ability to link with Tarot amongst other esoterically based effects.
My prediction methodology has never been an association with finding a ‘yes‘ or ‘no‘ to a given question or situation. Though it may suit some Tarot readers, my style centres around probabilities within Tarot, which are based on key elements that surround the central theme.
One of my most infamous predictions focused on the FIFA World Cup of 2014. I predicted that Germany would defeat Argentina, 4 Weeks before this actually materialised. Some people have said that this was a stroke of luck outcome. Nonetheless, there were at least a dozen findings (key elements) within the Tarot lay that enabled me to disregard many Countries to the point where just three Countries remained. There were key symbols within the Tarot lay that now pointed toward the symbolic association of the Country most likely to win.
Here are some key findings from the archives :
Four of Wands / The Star
This Country has turned a corner and is now in contention to be a World player, both politically and financially. The World Cup is seen as the catalyst of World dominance on many fronts which can be achieved and sustained for many Years. There is a real sense of domestic achievement, charismatic associations that can lead other people in other Countries to follow suit and reap the rewards of greater security and economic fortunes ahead.
The World / Two of Wands
This country can be linked to the colours Blue, Green and Red. The people are naturally adventurous and there appears to be a trait which links them to past World Cup Victories and a real belief of winning in so many circumstances. There is perhaps a link to the past victories which may include the conquering of other Countries during War times. They may have the World at their feet economically, but more importantly, the real conviction that the people of this Country can work together to build a superior nation. The colour association is proving to be difficult to analysis on symbolic indications alone, but my instinct tells me that the colours reflect a link to the Northern hemisphere, partly based on the fact that red and blue is traditionally associated to the pan-Slavic colours of this region. Red and blue is also linked historically, to the Germanic traits of blue eyes and higher incidences of red hair.
So, in this case there was a strong colour association within all four cards. Add to that, the supplementary symbology within the Tarot’s allegory and my gut feeling was turning towards Germany as the likely champions. I ‘bit the bullet ‘and the rest is now history!
Another prediction made in 2014, that is soon to be resolved is the USA presidential outcome for 2016. Here are some of key elements or findings that have guided me to the eventual inference.
Here are a few key elements from the archives:
My feeling here is drawn in the direction of political extremes that hypothetically, can be seen within any one political party. On a balance of chance, the Tarot is saying that the Republican Party is more likely to experience a problematical pathway than the Democrats
Around the time of the primary campaign, news of impending dishonour amongst some candidates will unravel.
In all likelihood, the preferred candidate in the Months leading to the election, will lose momentum on the run-up to the poll and will therefore loose. Both cards in this position are extreme. The Major Arcana (Moon) is reflective of probable deceitfulness. Whereas Cups x 8 is reflective energy that conceivably represents another Republican candidate, who has had some input in dealing the final blow to the preferred candidate.
The Tarot says that in all likelihood, there could be significant interest in voting for a female candidate for both Democratic and Republican in 2016.
In the immediate days following the primary election, there is sense of impediment for the Democrat nominee.
It is on the back of the Swords x 3 that the Democratic Party will recover from a difficult campaign, especially in the light of Hilary Clinton’s absence from the election race.
‘Hilary Clinton’s absence’ – This key finding seems to be remarkably inaccurate and logic tells me that Clinton will beat Trump. In spite of this, I may have misread the Tarot lay or there could be something on the horizon that dramatically changes the outcome at the eleventh hour. However, I did also predict that the Democrats would win without Clinton.
In conclusion, by distancing myself from the phenomenon known as the ‘logical predictable mentality’ I have been able to predict outcomes, based on trust around probabilities within Tarot. These likelihoods are based on a series of key elements that surround the central theme.
