Today’s Tarot card is from the Tarot de Marseille major Arcana 2 - La Papesse ( The High priestess). …………………Wikimedia Commons.
For me, each image produces a vast amount of detail that centres around symbolism, astrology, numerology. Kabballah, psychology and esoteric mysticism. Each card has its own charm.
In particular, I will be focusing on the cartography of each Tarot card, in that each image can promptly ‘hit’ the Reader with an insightful vision of reality that awaits the client.
Nonetheless, when the singular card is linked to all other Tarot cards on the table, I see a matrix of messages that can offer a strong associating connection between all cards. With the bigger picture to hand, this is how I read for clients in private and public places.
Hope you enjoy!
Let me know if you need clarification on my interpretation.

Tarot de Marseille major Arcana 2 - La Papesse ( The High priestess).
Designed in 1760, the zodiac affinity can be linked to the Moon. La Papesse holds her secrets well and nearly 300 Years after the birth of his design, the work of Nicolas Conver has features than can be seen in the more modern Universal Waite Tarot system of the 1990’s and the original Ryder system of 1909.
As we reach across the transient time span of several hundred Years, you realise that as a Tarot Reader, the wealth and abundance of this card has not diminished with time, say for the vibrancy of the card which is more perceptible in the 1760 edition.
There is a distinctive feminist energy about La Papesse and it is one card that unravels before me time and time again, especially when I read for Woman who are following their summoning from the cosmos. I see the self-assurance and capability within this card but it holds little in the way of known truths.
The Ryder Tarot deck reflects a black and white pillar, either side of her which to me represents personal fear. We may be apprehensive about revealing our insecurities to people who may manipulate us, as an aftermath of our actions and deeds. Because of this, she finds herself in a rather bombastic approach to dealing with life’ issues, the upshot of which can leave her feeling baffled.
And yet the potential achievements seen within this card that represent the client are out of the ordinary.
The message to the client can be challenging to communicate during a reading, because many clients are not meeting their true potential and are often mindful of this, partly because they are still trying to understanding the pathway in which their lives are unravelling.
On the international stage, I can see similarities to Hilary Clinton’s connection to the USA electorate. It was said that people held a feeling of wariness about her. Unfortunately, it could also be said that the voting public failed to recognise her true potential and resourcefulness over and above these negative feelings .
